Design Challenge
There are very few apps that educate users about paranormal investigations and historical narratives. Spooky places with real historical significance are being overlooked by amateur historians through the absence of available apps. To solve this problem, Ghost Connect is an app created for ordinary people to learn more about the paranormal and temporal facts.
The target audience are active paranormal investigators and history lovers who enjoy learning about the past. These amateur historians are looking for a greater choice in venues to share their perspectives.

Typeface Study
Solution
The app identity was developed with a yellow and white logo that depicts a blackletter typeface representing “ghost” and a sans serif for “Connect”. The logo symbolizes the paranormal, expresses a mysterious tone, and encourages fellow enthusiasts for greater social networking. Using wireframes and screen illustrations, a framework surrounds the app interface.
As a result, a functional app with a ghost tour, maps, profile, and other sections were created to attract audiences to paranormal media and tours. Additionally, a rustic top and bottom navigation bar provides greater access to in-app features such as ghost tours and notifications. Consistent elements such as a black background and contrasting typography provide a linear reading structure and accessibility for people with disabilities.
Project Outcome
This app provides users with an accessible, fact-based experience of the paranormal events in historical places. Ghost Connect increases the limited paranormal/historical fact-based phone applications to meet a greater demand.
Moreover, the app statistics reported that users gained strong bonds with other paranormal users because of the presence of the ghost tours.
